What would mass deportation mean for the U.S. job market?
Well, the numbers are scary! 💀
If Trump’s administration follows through with deporting four million people over the next four years, we could see:
❌ 3.3M fewer employed immigrants
❌ 2.6M fewer employed U.S. born workers
❌ California, Florida, New York, and Texas facing the highest job losses.
This #MakeoverMonday viz was a challenge to build.
It mirrored the race I ran for my club this week. Tough from start to finish, but worth it in the end. 🏃♂️
I reused the color palette from my “Trump’s First 100 Days” viz. I also created a squared U.S. map that highlights job losses by state.
Balancing label readability over varying backgrounds was so tricky. In the end, I settled on a blue-to-red gradient.
